I go by Bitsy Ann and I’m a 30-something throwback to the idealized eras of pin-curled hair, USO dances, swing dresses, reducing diets, Danish Modern furniture, flour sack aprons, old-time radio shows and home-cooked dinners. Basically, every aspect of daily life, from the 1920’s through the 1950’s, interests me.
I started up this blog to share my passion for Grandma’s pot roast, my love of musty magazines and my oddball obsession of vintage housekeeping schedules with other nostalgia-minded individuals who want to add a little retro charm to their modern lives. I’ll be posting occasionally about my own vintage lifestyle, as well as reproducing public domain articles, photos, books, how-to’s and recipes for others who would like to live their best vintage-inspired life. Let me know if you’re looking for info on any vintage topic in particular (early 1900’s through mid-1960’s) and I’d be happy to do some research for you. I’m nerdy like that.
Nice to meet you and thank you for stopping by!
